Family Planning Care

There are clinics available at Congleton War Memorial Hospital on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm by appointment. Please telephone 01260 294832 during these times to make an appointment.

Maternity Care 

Local clinics are held at the Congleton and Holmes Chapel Children’s Centre, New Street, Congleton CW12 3AH. If you wish to make a routine appointment please ring 01260 371061. The Morton midwives are based at Macclesfield Hospital, so for ALL other enquiries or to speak to a mid-wife, please ring 01625 661145.

Child Health Clinics

Are held at Congleton War Memorial Hospital, contact the health visitor on 01260 294820 for details. 

Stop Smoking Service

Is held at Congleton War Memorial Hospital. Please ring 0800 085 8818 for an appointment.

Phlebotomy (Blood Tests)

If your GP or nurse has requested that you have a blood test, please attend the phlebotomy clinic at Congleton War Memorial Hospital on weekdays (except bank holidays) from 8:30 am to 11:10 am

Minor Injuries

Unless directed otherwise please do not attend Congleton War Memorial Hospital without telephoning the nurse on duty in minor injuries first (01260 294828).

The Congleton War Memorial Hospital, Canal Road, is equipped to deal with minor injuries and is open between 10:00 to 13:30 and 14:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 13:00 and 13:30 to 16:00 or later on Saturday and Sundays (if after 16:00 at a weekend ring first on 01260 294828 to check if anyone is available).

Eye Injuries 

Please note that eye injuries cannot be treated at Congleton War Memorial, please attend Leighton Hospital A&E.

Children Under the Age of 5 Years Old

These cannot be treated at Congleton War Memorial, they should attend Macclesfield Hospital A&E unless it is an eye injury, in which case please attend Leighton Hospital A&E.
